The Village

Here at Glenugie Kennels we aim to keep as much creature comforts as possible in all our kennels, but we understand that not everyone wants added luxuries which is why we designed our “regular” rooms with less pomp and fuss yet equal comfort and care. Spacious, light and temperature controlled individual kennels in the village block are perfect for our larger VIPs or families. We have state of the art raised beds and plush soft anti stress bedding designed specifically for our guests to sink into providing them with a comforting, relaxed and calming feeling whilst away from home. Each kennel has its own private run which is partially covered for shade or shelter.

Kitties Condo

It’s not all about dogs at Glenugie Kennels as we are fortunate to have a cattery also. The Kitties Condos are tucked away from our canine guests in the steading and are individually designed for the aristocats in your life. With entertaining windows, it is an enviable retreat for our feline friends. Purrfectly pleasant, each condo boasts of its own personalised space. From the jungle cat room to princess pussycat, whiskers galore to Clawrins house, we have designated each individual space to cater for all you cat’s needs. Plush comfortable anti-stress bedding of various designs have been sourced so your kitty can relax and enjoy it’s holidays as much as you. Various levels have been applied to allow them a change of scenery and we also have a few toys to keep them occupied.

We also have accommodation for those who require a more simple life, and these spaces are also in the steading. They have more practical beds but have the same entertainment and treatment as those across the street.

All our guests will have daily housekeeping, fresh water on demand and the haute cuisine of their choice, a nightly turndown service with a complimentary treat and snuggle if so desired.

Huntington Manor Suite

This suite is definitely for our more aristocratic guests. A raised bed with comfortable tweed bedding is perfect for those looking for more K9 country accommodation. From deerskins, dapper wall art, to antlers, bookshelves, and roaring fires (artificial ones at least) are all part of the theme in this room so you can relax knowing your pet is living the best life possible without you. Outside, they have access to a large run partially covered for shade or shelter, somewhere they can lounge in the Scottish sunshine or sniff in some sweet salty air whilst listening to some music which is pipped in all kennel areas to entertain all our visitors. Daily housekeeping, fresh-water tipples as and when required, meals per instructed, regular outings in our exercise areas, a nightly turndown service with free belly rub and treat if so desired are all part of the experience at Glenugie Kennels along with a complimentary wash and blow-dry in Fairytails Spa and Grooming Parlour. *

Nasherville

This pawsome suite was designed for the guest with a little more bounce in his step. Large enough to accommodate a family or the guest who is accustomed to sleeping with their owner, we decided on a single bed with mattress specifically made for hygiene purposes, the soft luxury of a duvet and cushions were perfect for this hot dawg. Themed accordingly, this space has the ultimate country star at heart with wall canvas, guitar, star lights and cowhide rug. Outside your little star has the advantage of a huge space in which he can play with a shaded roof, and outside lounger in which he can lie and listen or waggle that tail to the music which is piped throughout the kennel areas. Daily housekeeping, dedicated menus to each individual, fresh water on demand, regular outings and private playtimes are the norm here along with a nightly turn down service and belly rub and treats if so desired by our guests. Webcam access allows us to watch our guests 24/7 and a complimentary trip to Fairytails for a bath and blow-dry are all part of the service. *

Barkingham Palace

This is one of our larger suites with raised beds and soft, plush bedding fit for any prince or princess (or both) in your life. Chandeliers, gilt framed pictures, and luxurious rugs, this it’s the epitome of stately rooms for any VIP! Designed in classic jewel tones, the suite is well appointed with luxurious bedding, crown décor and perhaps some Vivaldi for the more classy pup in this suite. Webcams are situated throughout Glenugie Boarding kennels so we can keep an eye on all our guests. This sumptuous suite has access to a huge run which is partially covered for shade. An outdoor lounger is available for those who want to relax and drink in the Scottish sunshine. Daily housekeeping, refreshments as and when required, meals served accordingly or some gourmet cuisine if so desired, regular outings, nightly turn down service and belly rub with a sweet treat and access to Fairytails spa and grooming parlour consisting of a wash and blow-dry at the end of their stay are all part of the package we offer at Glenugie Kennels. *

Ruffs Retreat(Standard Boarding )

The small kennel block is equipped for small to medium sized dogs and are spacious, light and temperature controlled. Likewise the individual kennels in the village block are perfect for our larger VIPs or families. We have state of the art raised beds and plush soft anti stress bedding designed specifically for our guests to sink into providing them with a comforting, relaxed and calming feeling whilst away from home. Each kennel has its own private run which is partially covered for shade or shelter.

Sniffany Suite.

The Siffany Suite is situated in the Ruffs Retreat building and is ideal for the more petite pooch. Appointed with deluxe anti – stress bedding to calm and relax your pet, soothing colour tones, chandeliers, a tiny touch of elegance, and a few home comforts, it is the enviable pad for any dog deserving of this room. This kennel has its own private run which overlooks the garden. a semi covered area for shade or shelter in which our guests can enjoy some fresh North- East air or to lounge about – whatever they decide. You can take comfort that your pet has every opportunity to relax or run wild as he or she desires. This area has the use of webcam so we can check on our guests at any time 24/7. All suites come with daily housekeeping, regular outings, and a nightly turn down tuck in service with a belly rub and sweet treat. Meals are served accordingly, and soothing music is pipped across all kennels throughout the day. A complimentary bath and blow-dry is available at the end of their stay. *
